Joey Parnell, driver of Superman, and Mark Hall, driver of Raminator, will join the Women’s & Children’s Hospital on Friday, March 8 at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate the crushing power of courage and confidence with the Monster Jam Beads of Courage®!  Children of the pediatric unit will be able to spend one-on-one time with Joey and Mark as they create their Monster Jam Thriller Necklace – which includes the Monster Jam Bead of Courage and eight other beads to inspire them through their challenging journey. The kids will also receive autographs and photos.  Patients at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital are among the FIRST in 2013 to receive the Monster Jam Beads of Courage, recognizing the importance of courage and confidence to conquer your fears! The event will take place in the hospital classroom. Women’s & Children’s Hospital is located at 4600 Caffery Parkway, Lafayette, La. 70508. Media is encouraged to attend.

Beads of Courage and Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam have joined forces for the second consecutive year to provide Monster Jam Beads of Courage events across the country.  Each Monster Jam Bead of Courage is packaged with a note of encouragement explaining the symbolism and an autograph page for the driver to make it “official.”  To add to the experience, each Monster Jam Bead of Courage is packaged with eight additional beads that provide inspiration and encouragement to the children. All nine beads together create the Beads of Courage Monster Jam Thriller Necklace.
