Outpatient Therapy
Successful treatment of your child doesn’t always end when they leave the hospital. Women’s & Children’s Hospital offers a comprehensive rehabilitation program with an interdisciplinary team of uniquely skilled and certified therapists all under one roof. Our qualified rehabilitation professionals include occupational, physical, and speech-language therapists. Their advanced training in specialized therapy techniques provides them with the expertise needed to treat children of all ages.
Treatment may consist of a variety of hands-on techniques, exercises and pain management. You and your child will typically be involved in the treatment and are educated in ways to speed recovery. We offer inpatient/outpatient treatment for the following conditions:
- Developmental delays
- Orthopedic, developmental and learning disabilities
- Muscular dystrophy
- Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis
- Abnormal or impaired motor development
- Prematurity
- Neurological and genetic disorders
- Sensory impairment
