Lafayette, Louisiana (June 27, 2013) - Preparations are underway for the American Cancer Society’s 2013 Black and White Gala presented by LHC Group and Event Rental. The event will take place Saturday, August 17 at 7pm at The Victorian. This festive event, chaired by Laura Ketteringham of Ketteringham Builders, unites the community for a great time while also contributing to the fight against cancer.
The third annual event is already slatted to top our first two. Since October, the Gala Committee has been hard at work planning this event. The first and second Black and White Galas were truly a unique combination of glamour, upheld the true mission of creating a world with more birthdays, and was an overall fun atmosphere. From the décor, to the food, to the evening’s Spirit of Hope Honorees, the 2013 Gala will be bigger and better than ever.
The funds raised at the Black and White Gala supports the American Cancer Society’s mission to create a world with less cancer and a world with more birthdays by helping people stay well, get well, find cures, and fight back.
