A Touch of Sol

Sol Food Mobile Farm, a nonprofit garden assistance program from Durham, NC, made a stop at Women’s & Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, Nov. 13. The bus travels the nation in a converted Blue Bird school bus educating communities on environmental sustainability and community development. The bus doubles as a mobile home and classroom, complete with a greenhouse, living greenroof, waste vegetable oil engine and rain water collection systems.
